A British Website, NumberWatch, dedicated to "Combatting Math Hysteria," compiles information about "scares, scams, junk, panics, and flummery cooked up by the media, politicians, bureaucrats, so-called scientists and others who try to confuse you with wrong numbers."
NumberWatch compiled the following "partial list of things ostensibly caused by global warming":

The best comment I heard about global warming: In good times we worry that the polar bears won't have enough arctic ice to sustain their habitat. In bad times we wonder what polar bear meat tastes like.
